What's the yellow ingredient in a sushi roll?
Just what the title says, at my local china buffet the sushi chef puts a yellow, thick, soft thing inside his roll, any idea what it is? It looks kind of fruitish/veggy rather than meat/fish
Should a hoarder have animals?
My sister in law has 3 cats and a dog for the last few months. I haven't been there for a while and thought she cleaned it up since getting the animals. I was there yesterday and it is disgusting. You can't even see the sink and stove. The dog is locked in a messy kitchen area for 11 hours a day and at night trapped in a corner in her room by a dresser and a baby cribs box spring thing. The dog is only 10 months old and has fearful aggression. The animals eat off of paper plates and they didn't have water. She has 2 kids and the one is 13 and loves the animals but can't stand the messy house either. I'm not sure what pennsylvania laws are concerning this and if they would take the pets away or say she needs to clean up her house. There used to be a path from room to room, but not anymore. There is mouse poop in her kitchen drawers. Its wrong, but her older child looks forward to being with the dog, she doesn't have a bond with her mother. Any ideas?

And bonus question I know it is good to talk about work to unload it but I sort of get tired of hearing it from my honey. "How can I divert him to something else"? When he starts he does not stop for a LONG time! This is usually while I am finishing up getting the kitchen cleaned up after dinner. So my resources are uh limited!!!

I didn't see it but in order for the network to do all that, the owner of the restaurant had to consent to it. It sounds like they're all a bunch of idiots if the owner paid for the renovations and the network trashed it.
Venues...reception halls..cutting cost (small rant)?
Hi, we're doing the same. In Ireland however but still. Found out that a lot of hotels etc charge you for the room capacity, regardless of how many are actually there. So, we found a local leisure club and we've hired the reception room. It is fantastic. The room holds 180 people. We want to have maybe 50 to dinner and the ceremony, immediate family and people involved in the wedding and then a big evening reception. It's great because the food etc is being done in house, but they gave the best quote. The room has drapes and hangings that cover the walls so can match my colour scheme, the room can be divided up so doesn't look empty during the dinner and then opens out for the reception. I'm so happy we are doing it this way, much more control and lot less stress.
Perhaps inadvertently I invented a cure for the cough, what do you think?
I live in the last floor of a bedsit,im the only one who have my own wc and kitchen,all the others unforntunately have to use the same wc,so i pass the night earing people slamming doors and walking in the hallway because the sound insulation is not the best.Underneath me lives my neighbor and when she have her tv turned on i can hear but at a low volume,I dont know if she hears mine tv, it's easier to hear the sound of the TV from downstairs to the upper or the opposite?And she usually cough, im hearing she coughing about two months and there seems not a normal cough ,its a genre of strange cough since it seems that it is forced or inducede especially when my house is silent,and when I turn on my TV she ceases coughing ,perhaps inadvertently I invented a cure for the cough, what do you think?

Cool room ideas for a teenage boy?
Well, more like cool HOUSE ideas. See, my parents and I don't really get along, so I plan to save up and move into our storage building. Don't worry, I'll insulate it and pimp it out and stuff. I'll need to put all the kitchen stuff, (stove, fridge,) bathroom stuff, and bedroom stuff into that relatively small space.,I've measured all the furniture and the building and everything, but my problem is I want to make it cool and entertaining. I'm not neccesarily asking for decorations, just entertainment stuff I could put in it. Keep in mind, I don't have a lot of space. I was thinking maybe a hot tub or something, but it's actually not all that entertaining if ya think about it. I might like a cool theme too, like one thing I was thinking about was like making it just one giant animal cage, like have a water dish be the hot tub, or the treadmill be a hamster wheel. Come on, answerers, be creative! Just tell me some things I could put in it to have fun! Not like video games and stuff, something that involves moving that's FUN. Remember, there's not much space. Look in the job listings. See what kind of jobs are hiring. Pick one of those and get a degree that will help you land that type of job. Do not major in someting dumb to prepare for a job that doesn't really exist - like drawing doodles or playing in the band or whatever.
Trying to avoid secondhand smoke?
its not as easy as "tell them to smoke outside." i live with my mom and stepdad, rent free. i quit smoking about 6 months ago, and my step dad smokes like a chimney. its disgusting because he does it right in the kitchen and always blows it in my face. i know i dont really have a "right" to ask him to smoke elsewhere because its his house and like i said im living here rent free, but its extremely frustrating knowing that im still getting his secondhand smoke and i am still at a risk to get diseases that shouldnt be a worry for me since i quit myself. do you have any advice on what to do for this situation? it just gets worse every day and i can't stand the smoke.

i have a mini poodle and when he was a baby i was feeding him once a day and now that he is an adult now he jsut turned 1 jan 4, on the blue buffalo bag it says to feed only once a day. im trying my best to do only once a day but he start to whine and jump against the cabinet in the kitchen cuz hes hungry so i give him a 2nd meal. how do i convert from 2 to 1 meal a day?

How can I stay to the USA?
Since you are 15 and not an adult yet, your best bet is to do a student exchange program, when student from different countries come to study to the US (I'm sure your still in school). Then you will get experience in living in the US, and also you will improve your English, and you will have a place to stay (probably with a family that is willing to take care of exchange students, but Im not totally sure how it works). Then you can take it from there. Finish school in the US or come here when you graduate in Greece. Then you can apply for a student VISA and go to chef school here in the US. Later you can apply for a green card. United States in definitely nice and there are a lot of places you can live at, from really big cities like New York to tropical gateway spots like Florida and California. I wish you luck! Culinary Arts college questions?
I'm looking at colleges, and I've got it narrowed down to two colleges. The Arts Institute of Indianapolis, and the Indianapolis Chef's Academy. At the Arts Institute, tuition for the CULINARY MANAGEMENT Bachelor of Science degree is $92,352.00. That is one course. It includes ALL Culinary Arts courses. At the Indianapolis Chef's Academy, tuition for the CULINARY ARTS Associate of Applied Science Degree is $38,100.00, and the HOSPITALITY AND RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT Bachelor of Science degree is $56,000, for a total of $94,000.00. My biggest question is, can I get a position of Sous Chef, Head Chef, or even Executive Chef and a highly respectable restaurant with ONLY the CULINARY ARTS Associate of Applied Science Degree? Or would I have to take the Management course along with it? Or, would it be a better choice just to get the CULINARY MANAGEMENT Bachelor if Science degree at the Arts Institute? The reason I ask, my parents and I were talking about different degrees, and that an associate's degree won't do much for me. Would it in this case if I took the Arts course at the Chef's Academy?
My cat is getting what I think is leg cramps?
I am writing in regards to my cat Tony. He is a year old almost to the day. He is a very active but indoor only kitty and the other day he ran off the top of the sofa to land about five feet away right in front of me. As he landed I saw his back leg give out under him. He sat down and made a sound of pain and annoyance. This was the first time I had ever heard him make a sound like a growl. He laid down right away and I checked his leg for a breakage. He stretched it like it was cramping and was quiet and calm for the rest of the night and the past two days( it was not like him to be so quiet but I thought he was just resting his pulled muscle). His leg did not seem broken and for about two days every time he walked his leg seemed fine. Last night he did not sleep with me at the foot of my bed, something he has never ever done since the first day I brought him home. I was very concerned about his lethargy and change in behavior. Then this morning he went to jump on the bed(it is only about six inches off the ground) and as he got in the position to jump he started making the same sound and sat down very quickly. I got off the bed and went to him. He walked away from me very quickly to another room and I followed slowly. He laid down in the kitchen and stretched his leg again like it was cramping. Once again I checked for breaks and stretched out his leg he seemed a little unhappy when I touched the inside top of his leg but he did not jerk it away just growled a little. I sat next to him and pet his head to comfort him. After a few minutes he was walking again and then went to sleep sprawled out on the sofa. He still seemed like the leg was bothering him but not as bad. He was fine for about eight hours and even played with his toys for the first time in days as if nothing had ever happened. I thought he was feeling better but in the last two hours he has had two similar cramping incidents. What could be the cause of this? Has this happened to other cats before? What can I do to help him?

Well the best way to learn is to watch some videos on YouTube. I'm sure there are some how-to videos showing how to do this. However this works better if you have a lot of time. But it is a much better method (in my opinion) than typing it out phonetically, since you can actually hear the people talking on YouTube.

Questions about the ball python?
Is there any other way to feed ball pythons besides mice and other rodents. I want one but my mom is completely against keeping dead rodents (or live) in the house. If a boyfriend tricked you into thinking he was wearing a condom has an offence been committed?
It was in the night,lights out. He lent over and got one from the draw and made like he was putting it on, only forme to discover minutes later that he didnt.Obviously it was too late. I feel violated especially after lengthy discussions where i have told him i am not ready for more children. I feel like he is trying to trick me into pregnancy. There was one incident where my contraceptive pill 'vanished'only for me to find it while emptying the kitchen bin. The incident where he faked putting on the condom was the last straw for me, and i have left him. However i am now at risk of being pregnant from it. I love south western earthy nutral colors. I want to paint our one wall that has the window, fridge, counter space, oven and a bit more counter space with cabinets on that wall. A color I found is a rich brickish, brown color. The countertops have specks of this color in it. I know painting it a dark color it will make it look smaller, but the paint sample is just so wonderful. Should I go for it? I keep having the same dream about one snake what does it mean?
The past nights I've been having a dream about one certain snake it is a black and white stripped California King snake in my dream it is venomous.The dream starts off like a normal day in my apartment then my fianc� brings in the snake and he tries to get me to hold it and pet it.It tries to attack my dog (Tini) and I protect him and scream at my fianc� to take the snake outside and leave it outside so he takes it outside and lets it go.Well then in my dream I lay down on my bed and I can feel it crawling up my legs so I jump out of bed and run into the kitchen but the snake is already in the kitchen so I run into the living room and sit on the couch and relax trying to wake myself up then I feel it crawling up my leg again so I kick it off and i run into the kitchen and sit on the counter against the fridge looking up the snake and it tells me on the computer that its a venomous snake.My dog come out of the bed room and tries to protect me but the snake jumps at him and bites him and my dog dies instantly.I'm screaming for my fianc� to wake up and help me but he doesn't wake up.So I grab a shovel (which for some reason was in my kitchen >_< I don't even own a shovel) Anywho.....I grab the shovel and chase after the snake trying to cut off its head and kill it. but I can't match its speed so I try to out smart it so I walk slowly to the front door and it comes at me I open the door and it follows me outside so I double back and slam the door shut (shovel still in my hands) and decide to lay back down because its outside well i lay on my bed my dog somehow comes back alive and he cuddles up with me then I feel the snake wrap around my leg and slowly crawl up I try to kick it off but for some reason it refuses to let go I lift up the covers and look at my feet and the snake bites me on my left foot and it feels like i can feel the teeth sinking into my foot and its red eyes are staring right into mine as it bites harder.Then i wake up and rip the covers off me and nothing is there.I've had these dreams for about a week now its the same dream over and over I've looked it up online but yet I've found nothing.Can anybody help me clear up this dream so I can fix the problems or at least try to so i can get a good night sleep for once?
Threw out my pancake recipe by mistake.........forgot the measurements.....help!?
Hey guys, normally I am pretty good in the kitchen but in a sudden rush the ither morning I tossed out my Aunt Jemima Pancake (just add water) box before making and had to totally guess the measurments for my pancake batch...unfortunately, when I guessed I got everything wrong and well lets just say not my best pancakes....does anyone have the directions that are printed on the box?.....I mean I went by instinct, 1 cup of the mix, 3/4ths cups of water, then i just add cinnamon and vanilla for taste.....but that was about it and it just didnt come together as it always does maybe I have to add oil or eggs but I want to know what the box says before I go and ruin another batch.

My wife has been unhappy (she claims) for a year and a half which has affected her intimacy, affection, respect, love towards me. We had sex a few times only throughout 2010.Every time she says she is unhappy it to do with her decor company which she works from home. To be honest I pay all the household bills, so whether her business is doing well or not isn’t major as this doesn’t pay the bills. To be honest the business is doing fine, and I help her on my weekends off, as I have a full time job. Her business would actually do better if she didn’t go out for alot of the day almost everyday and leaving the business phone at home. Also I brought her a small dog at Christmas 2009 and since then things have been even worse, all the attention goes on the dog and not me.I am extremely nice to her, loyal, and would do anything for her. But the way she has been has slowly been eating away at my happiness and love for her.I don’t bring up our issues often as she is a bad communicator. I have gained nothing from these serious conversations, for instance a month ago she said fine we will have sex that nite, when the evening came and we were in bed, I kissed her and she pushed me away and yet again said she not in the mood then went to sleep.The only thing that is really keeping me there is that I Iove her, we do get along sometimes and I find her attractive but that’s about it. I can write down a list of dislikes. lastnite had a serious conversation which she reluctantly agreed to. She got uneasy, frustrated etc. She said yes we will improve this and that, with no plan of action, soagreeing for the sake of it to more sex, more affection etc. Plus there’s still no explanation as to why she has changed still!, I still don’t buy the fact that the business has stressed her out this much. I said if our relationship carries on like this then I will consider leaving because if been taking this for 2 long, she then said calmly, if your unhappy and you want to leave then leave...

I totally understand why you reflexively defend your fanfic as "long and probably horrible" just by the stereotypical fanfic, but it doesn't seem that way to me. In fact, it seems fine, like an excerpt from an actual book. You do a good job making me envision the scene, but you haven't shown me the insides of the characters' thoughts, or their internal motives and frustrations. I like the whole juxtaposition of actual vampires with Halloween, though.

Why does my magic chef fridge periodically buzz?

How to mount a tree branch onto wall?
First find the studs in your wall. They should be either 16 or 24 inches apart, once you find one. Then drill a hole in the branch where it meets the stud. Then screw it to the wall with a Drywall screw about an 1 1/2 inches wider than the branch. Be careful there is not electrical plugs or wiring behind the wall. If not a plug on the wall under the branch chances are small there is electrical (But not Impossible). Good Luck

I don't think you're over thinking it.. but i do think that you shouldn't jump to that conclusion. You should ask him what he does in those times.. and then if you feel particularly brave ask him to repeat that backwards. It's hard to remember your lie backwards (if he's lying). But I'd say trust him... if he's never cheated on you before, or never cheated on any other girlfriend he's had then i think you should give him the benefit of the doubt.

Anyone remember Chef Boyardee? Ok how about the mac and cheese? Is it weird I eat this stuff uncooked? For some reason, I just can't eat it cooked. I've tried before and I hate it. But to me it's so good uncooked. Is this weird?

My dad worked for a convention center for like 5 years (it was on a native reserve) and they brought him in because he had a good reputation and hoped he would fix the problems because it was losing so much money. He turned it around and they let go people like the chef who wasn't good for the restaurant which it has and got one who knew how to make a good menu and bring people in and the council of the reserve hired a guy who stole 11,000 dollars!! Then they called him in today and told him that since it was turned around and they can hire a native so they let fired him!! It was because of the fact he wasn't native! Is that fair? What's the best vegetarian cookbook for me?
The girl I'm seeing is vegetarian. I am 100% carnivore, but I don't mind sacrificing a little. I enjoy cooking though I'm no gourmet chef. I don't keep a fully stocked kitchen, but I want to be able to cook a nice meal every now and then for her. Anyone know any good cookbooks that have simple vegetarian recipes that don't include green beans, asparagus, or weird leafy things in every meal? Pastas, rice recipes, veggie burgers, etc would be good. Thanks.

I want to decorate my drawing room with movie decor since my friends are coming next week to my home for a little get together can any one suggest some quality movie decor items and where can i find these.
