Why does my magic chef fridge periodically buzz?

So I just got a new magic chef mini-fridge and when I first plugged it in it made a continuous buzzing noise. I left my room for a while, and when I came back it was no longer buzzing. It now periodically buzzes and its getting annoying. Any idea as to whats wrong with it, or how I can fix it?
