Do guys really like to get red velvet boxers for Valentine's Day?

It seems to be the ideal gift for a guy, as they always have them out on the shelves around Valentine's Day.. but do guys really like this kind of a gift? What is a good gift for a guy for Valentine's Day? Guys.. what would you like your girl to get you? Some ideas I have are shoes, a hoodie, a home decor item, or some kind of jewelry like a cool ring or something.. Are these good ideas?
