My husbands mom tried to bribe me to get him to move closer to home, should I tell my husband?

We were visiting my husbands family in Auckland. It is no secret that she does not like the fact that my husband lives in America with me and our four sons. We have been married 10 years and all she ever complains about is how far away he lives even though we visit her twice a year. She called me into the kitchen the day before we left and she stated in these exact words, " I know your american and your probably obsessed with your country. But we have money saved up that we can give you if you can convince your husband to move closer to us," This is horrible, I cannot believe she would say any of what she said. Should I tell my husband or refuse her and tell her that was wrong. To be honest my husband is already considering taking a job there, but he hasn't told them yet.
