Who pays for church in a wedding?

Hard to say b/c a lot of couples today's society pretty much pay for their own wedding with the exception of some things and just depends on each parties financial situation. Personally I have never heard of a church charging such a fee to use a church for a wedding. I thing the groom and groom's parents should pay since he is wanting to get marry at that particular church.
